I challenge you to share something uniquely funny from your workplace!
Here’s my offer, a bit of nerd / geek humor:
Child asks: “Daddy what are clouds made of?”

Father replies: “Linux servers mostly…”
This honestly is a conversation I could have had with my kids if I was distracted enough… and many kids today might actually understand what I meant. Mine do. Granted, they are adults now, and are working in tech fields, so that’s not quite fair of me. 🙂
- Cloud technology is often described as multiple computer servers located in different physical or geographical places working together to provide a service via the Internet. Services like website hosting, email hosting or online backup storage.
- The most popular cloud server operating system is NOT from Microsoft or Apple, it’s the open source and completely FREE Linux operating system.
Now you know why the joke works. Right?
Did You Know…
Linux is what I’ve been using on my office computers (FYI – I recommend Linux Mint Xfce), Network Attached Storage, email servers and web hosting servers for years. I love not having my computers crash or lock up anymore.
I also really appreciate that I can use older and less expensive equipment, worry less about viruses and malware and still get the same things done faster and with fewer headaches.
