Donna Johnson Herring knew that she was taking a big step forward in creating a new Pilates & Yoga studio in an historic neighborhood near downtown Cedar Rapids. With numerous responsibilities and deadlines piling up, Market Street was happy to help by taking the headache out of developing a new website for the business.
We had several pre-design meetings to go over the key features and really narrow down the color scheme that incorporated the newly created butterfly logo and Donna’s own sense of color tones.
We later came up with a couple of ways to integrate an online class scheduling component that was purpose-built for her particular industry. As Donna’s needs changed we quickly adapted the site to fit those needs.
Due a bit of serendipitous timing and polite inquiry, we were able to get approval to use a very unique photo of the founder of the Pilates method (Joseph Pilates) which was used in a special post dedicated to him.
After wrapping up our 8-10 personalized training sessions Donna and her second in command were off and running! Soon both were adding content, blog posts, updating page information and pictures all on their own!
